19 mins: A dashing break from Hodgson launches NSW onto the offensive, but they lose the ball near the Quuensland line.

18 mins: Gidley's tackle on Petero Civoniceva prevents Queensland from scoring a second try.

13 mins: The Maroons build up some momentum for the first time, and hit back with a try from wing Lote Tuqiri, who holds off Johns' tackle to score in the left corner after Darren Smith's initial surge to the line. Clinton Schifcofske pulls the conversion wide.
