Paula Radcliffe

Paula Radcliffe is a British long-distance runner and currently holds several world records. Paula took up running at the age of seven, influenced by her father who was a keen amateur marathon runner. She is the current world record holder for the women's marathon, which she set during the 2003 London Marathon, with a time of 2:15:25. She also holds a world record for the women's 10k in a time of 30 minutes and 21 seconds. In 2002, Radcliffe was voted BBC Sports Personality of the Year and in June 2008 was awarded an MBE.

Robert Green

Robert is an English international footballer who currently plays for West Ham United as a goalkeeper. He began his career at Norwich City, making his debut in 1999. By 2003, Rob was a key figure in the Norwich side. He played a key role in helping Norwich to the Championship in the 2003–04 season and promotion to the Premier League. In total he made 241 appearances for Norwich between 1999 and 2006, including gaining his first England cap. Robert was named the West Ham Player of the Year at the end of last season.

Liam Treadwell

Liam Treadwell is a jockey who most recently succeeded in winning the 2009 Grand National riding Mon Mome to victory. Liam was a former Flat jockey before he changed over to jumps. Treadwell rides for Findon-based Nick Gifford where he started his career. Liam comes from a racing background, his father Mark has been a workrider-cum-stablehand for 20 years and his mother, Lorraine oversees the stable’s daily laundry. After his win, Liam Treadwell had a race named in his honour at Fontwell Park races because he was brought up close to the course and where his parents still live locally

Charlotte Edwardso

Charlotte Edwards is an English Cricketer and is the current captain of the England’s women’s team. At 16, she became the youngest player to debut for England. In 1997 she smashed 12 centuries, including one against the touring South Africans. She plays county cricket for her team in Kent, which she also captains and plays as a Batsman, She won the ICC Woman's player of the year 2008 at the ICC awards ceremony at Dubai. She led the England team in the 2009 World Cup in Australia, scoring a half century and taking a career best in the Super Six victory over New Zealand. She captained the side to a 4 wicket victory over New Zealand in the World Cup Final in Sydney.
