Olympic combined champion Janica Kostelic won the World Cup slalom title in Finland, despite finishing second to Anja Paerson in Saturday's event.
Paerson's fine run could not delay Kostelic's title celebrations
The Croat, whose victory on Friday was only her second of the season, finished 0.29 seconds behind Paerson, who clocked one minute 38.86 seconds.
But a podium finish in every race this season helped her to the title, with the overall victory expected to follow.
Austrian Nicole Hosp was in third place, 1.14secs behind Paerson.
The result leaves Kostelic 254 points ahead of closest rival Marlies Schild of Austria in the overall standings, which will be decided at the season's finals in Are, Sweden, next week.
