Emma Fowler will become the first female biathlete to represent Great Britain at the Winter Olympics.
Fowler is an Army Corporal
The 26-year-old from Somerset was named alongside Tom Clemens, 29, for February's Games in Turin, Italy.
Team GB's chef de mission Simon Clegg said: "They have done a good job in meeting the Olympic qualifying standards and I wish them well."
Fowler will compete in the 15km individual and 7.5km sprint and Clemens the 20km individual and 10km sprint.
Jason Skelnar, a former Olympic biathlete and now team leader for Turin, added: "Tom has secured his place in Team GB after 11 years of hard training and has overcome his disappointment on missing out on the Salt Lake City Olympic Winter Games."
Both are in the Army and are at a high altitude camp in Europe making their final preparations.
The Games run from 10-26 February.
