Lloyd impressed for the Golden Gophers of Minnesota

British-born kicker Rhys Lloyd has signed for the NFL's Baltimore Ravens.
The 22-year-old was born in Dover, Kent, but moved to the United States as a teenager when his father took a soccer coaching job in Minnesota.
Lloyd was rated as one of the best college players in his position, making a name for himself with the University of Minnesota in the Big Ten Conference.
Although he failed to be selected in any of the NFL draft's seven rounds, he joins the Ravens as a free agent.
Lloyd is regarded as a solid long-kicker and a cool head under pressure.
He joins fellow Briton Lawrence Tynes in the NFL - the Scottish-born player replaced kicking legend Morten Andersen at Kansas City.
The trail for British-born kickers in the NFL was blazed by John Smith with the New England Patriots (1974-83) and Mick Luckhurst at Atlanta (1981-87).
