Bonds has been troubled by knee problems

San Francisco Giants slugger Barry Bonds has had another operation on his injured right knee.
The seven-time National League Most Valuable Player underwent arthroscopic surgery, his third operation on his right knee this year.
"The surgery went well. Dr (Arthur) Ting cleaned out the infected area and they are now treating me with antibiotics," Bonds told his website.
Last month he admitted to fearing that he might miss the whole season.
Bonds, who also had surgery on his left knee in October, had operations to removed damaged cartilage in his right knee in January and March.
He had originally hoped to be back for the start of the season on 5 April but could now miss the whole campaign
That would hit his hopes of topping the all-time home run list - he is currently third with 703, behind Babe Ruth on 714 and Hank Aaron on 755.
Bonds has also been embroiled in the steroids scandal connected to the Balco laboratories.
