Trammell is the second manager in two days to leave his post

The Detroit Tigers have fired manager Alan Trammell, a day after the American League team finished their 12th consecutive losing season.
And the Los Angeles Dodgers have
released their manager Jim Tracy on Monday, after the team recorded their first losing season in five years.
The Tigers lost 29 of their final 39 games and finished with a 71-91 record.
Trammell, who managed the team for the past three years, also played for the Tigers for 20 years.
He was the most valuable player in the 1984 World Series.
Tracy said he wished the team "nothing but the very best"

"For the Tigers to reach the next level, it is time to make a change," said general manager David Dombrowski.
Trammell has been offered a job as a special assistant to the Tigers' general manager.
Tracy, who had managed the Dodgers for five years, had a clause that would allow him to void the upcoming year. Last month he requested an extension.
After guiding the Dodgers to four consecutive winning seasons and a division title in 2004, Tracy saw his roster decimated by injuries in 2005 and slip to fourth place and a 71-91 record, the worst for a Dodger club since 1992.
Dodgers general manager Paul DePodesta said: "We felt strongly it was time for a change."
