The row over San Francisco wide receiver Terrell Owens' future has ended with the player joining Philadelphia Eagles on a seven-year contract.
Two weeks ago, the NFL ruled that Owens was not a free agent and the 49ers traded him to Baltimore Ravens for a second-round pick.
But Owens, who had agreed a $10m signing bonus with the Eagles, refused to go to Baltimore.
The players union took his case to arbritration but, before a decision could be made, a deal was struck to take him to Philadelphia.
The Eagles have traded defensive end Brandon Whiting to San Francisco and a fifth-round pick to the Ravens as part of the deal.
Meanwhile, Philadelphia cornerback Troy Vincent has joined Buffalo.
San Diego have signed Miami cornerback Jamar Fletcher and sent wide receiver David Boston to the Dolphins.
New Orleans have acquired two-time Pro Bowl fullback Sam Gash to a one-year contract and released veteran cornerback Dale Carter.
Known for his blocking, Gash, with Buffalo last season, replaces Terrelle Smith, who signed as a free agent with Cleveland last week.
The re-signings of cornerbacks Fred Thomas and Fakhir Brown earlier in the month signalled the end of Carter's career in with the Saints.
