World tunes in for Super Bowl
Teen queen Britney Spears sings together with dancers during a concert at Bremen in Germany in 2000
Britney Spears will appear in a TV advert for Pepsi
Sunday's Super Bowl will be watched by 800 million people, according to the National Football League (NFL).

The game will be screened in 166 countries, including such varied places as the Vatican City, Vietnam, Brunei, Bulgaria and India.

There will be commentaries in 26 languages including Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish and Russian.

Despite the popularity of American football's showpiece event, the 30-second US television commercials during the match will be selling for less than last year because of the recession.

Slots, which will be see by as many as 130 million Americans, can now be bought for "a little" under $2m (£1.4m), down from the $2.1m (£1.5m) they cost last year.

Among the big brands buying airtime is Pepsi, which has hired teen queen Britney Spears to sing jingles from as far back as the 1950s.
