Swimming on the BBC

Britain's best swimmers are teaming up with their German and Italian counterparts as they take on the United States in December in a Duel in the Pool competition in Manchester.

GB's Rebecca Adlington won two gold medals at the 2008 Olympics

The event will see the first ever competitive appearance in this country by American superstar Michael Phelps.
