Lincolnshire's Tania Bailey says she is recovering well from a hip operation.
The British number 14 told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "The operation went well and hopefully I'll be back soon."
The ex-world junior champion's ranking dropped after being plagued by recent injuries but she is hoping her standing will improve if her fitness holds.
The 29-year-old, who recently captained England, said: "Every ranking place you go up you earn more, so I'm hoping to get back up there."
The week before the operation Bailey captained a victorious England team at the European Team Championships in Sweden.
