Britain's Peter Barker beat favourite and ex-world number one David Palmer in the final of the Chicago Open.
Second seed Barker beat Australia's reigning British Open champion 15-13 11-9 11-2 in 53 minutes on an all-glass outdoor court in Pioneer Plaza.
"I'm over the moon," said London's world number 12, after claiming the 11th Tour title of his career.
"What makes it so special is everything David's achieved - he's a wonderful player," added the 24-year-old.
Palmer, 32, contesting the 49th PSA Tour final of his professional career, said: "Peter was too fast. He weathered everything I put out."
