By the BBC's Clive Jones at Wembley

Mark Williams held off a magnificent fightback by Jimmy White to record a dramatic 6-5 semi-final victory in the B&H Masters.

The Welshman has now set himself up for Sunday's final showdown with defending champion Paul Hunter.

White looked to be down and out as Williams moved into a 5-2 lead with the help of two century breaks and a 93.

But White brought his legion of fans to fever pitch as he hauled himself level with the help of a century and a 73.

White had a great chance to clinch the decider but he undercut a red into the bottom pocket which proved fatal as Williams put the match beyond him.

Mark Williams said the tension in the deciding frame was huge after he had pipped Jimmy White in a thriller.

"He came back really well. That last frame put a lot of pressure on both of us and Jimmy could have won," he said.

"It was difficult to concentrate when someone in the crowd starts whistling while I'm trying to take a shot."

Williams revealed his excitement for the final with Hunter.

"I have a good record against Paul but it doesn't mean anything in a final," he added.
