Ronnie O'Sullivan claimed his ninth Premier League title in 14 years on Sunday with victory over Shaun Murphy at Potters in Norfolk. The final was a re-run of 12 months ago when Murphy came out on top, but this time O'Sullivan sealed a 7-3 win. "It was tough and congratulations to Shaun on a great defence of his title," said O'Sullivan. "I'm now going into the UK Championships with some confidence as I have beaten some good players here." The Essex-born cueman had overcome world number one Neil Robertson 5-1 in Saturday's first semi-final, while Murphy saw off Marco Fu 5-2.

I'd love to get four, five or more World Championships

O'Sullivan, 35, has yet to win a ranking tournament in 2010 but will look to improve on his position of eighth in the world at the UK Championships which start on Saturday. "I need to improve my game in different areas for December but I've got a chance to win," he added. "I'd love to get four, five or more World Championships but that competition is tough and I will keep trying."
