Trump breaks into world's top 32

Trump failed to come through qualifying for the 2009 World Championship

Judd Trump has climbed into the world's top-32 players for the first time.

It means the highly-rated 19-year-old from Bristol, who will be ranked 30th, will play only one qualifying match before each tournament next season.

His best result of the present campaign was reaching the semi-finals of the Grand Prix in Glasgow, where he beat Ronnie O'Sullivan in the last eight.

Trump also made it to the first round of the Masters, where he lost to Mark Allen after coming through qualifying.

But he missed out on a spot at the World Championship in Sheffield after losing to Stephen Lee in the final qualifying round.
