Mark Selby defeated Stephen Lee 10-3 at last year's final

Mark Selby begins the defence of his Masters title on Monday where he will face either Mark King or Ricky Walden.

World number two Stephen Maguire of Scotland faces compatriot Graeme Dott in the opening match at the Wembley Arena on Sunday.

World number one Ronnie O'Sullivan has a first round test against Englishman Joe Perry.

And Shaun Murphy, who last month won the UK Championship, comes up against world number 11 Ding Junhui.

"I've dreamt of winning the big titles and no amount of money can buy your name on the trophy," said Murphy.

"I've now won the two biggest ranking events, and I hope there are more titles to come," said Murphy, who became only the tenth player to have won the World and UK titles.

Selby, the world number four, trounced Lee 10-3 on the way to victory last year also picking up the winner's cheque of 150,000.
