Joe Swail produced impressive form in the Dungannon event
Joe Swail was in fine form as he won the Barry McNamee Memorial Trophy in Dungannon by beating Antrim amateur Jordan Brown 6-1 in Saturday's final.

Swail cleared the colours to win the opening frame on the black and went on to hit breaks of 130, 97, 85 and 50.

Brown beat professionals Michael Judge and Fergal O'Brien and host club hero Patrick Wallace to reach the decider.

The 19-year-old had beaten Wallace 5-2 earlier on Saturday while Swail had defeated Kilkenny's David Morris 5-1.

Mark Allen and Ken Doherty both crashed out in the quarter-finals on Friday.

Title holder Allen lost 5-4 to Wallace while provisional number two Doherty went down 5-1 to Morris.
