Frame 32: Dott reaches the World Championship final in dramatic fashion. Stevens looks to be heading to level the match, but his 45 break falters when he misses a red. Dott comes in and makes 51 - only to miss a difficult yellow. But Stevens then misses the brown, and an exchange of unbelievably tense safety follows. Stevens is first to crack - he leaves the blue and the Scot is through.

Frame 31: The nerves are dominating now, and this is an incredibly tense frame. Both players make the odd splendid pot and plenty of howlers, but Dott is in the ascendency, and after Stevens goes in off, the frame is over.

Frame 26: This desperately slow affair suggests both players are adopting a safety-first attitude as the finish line approaches. Stevens is first to crack, a wayward safety shot finally giving Dott a break-building chance and although the Scot fluffs it, he gets another to stumble home.
