Ding edges towards Crucible
Chinese star Ding Junhui
Ding made an impressive UK debut at the Masters last month
Chinese teenager Ding Junhui moved a step closer to a World Championship appearance by reaching the penultimate qualifying round at Prestatyn.

The 16-year-old beat Marcus Campbell 10-3 and now faces Barry Pinches for a place in the final qualifier.

Victory there would make him the youngest player ever to reach the televised stages at the Crucible.

Ding, who starred as a wild card at the Masters at Wembley, knocked in two centuries on his way to victory.
