Ronnie O'Sullivan won four straight frames after going 2-1 down to take the early honours against Mark Williams.

O'Sullivan hit two centuries, including a 142, but Williams took the final frame of the session to trail by two.

The Welshman reduced the deficit still further when a break of 67 gave him the opening frame of the evening session.

But O'Sullivan hit back to take the next two and made it 8-5 with a break of 131.

The world champion eventually booked his place in the final after Williams has reduced the gap to just two frames.
