Spain's Maria Jose Rienda Contreras won her first World Cup race in her 11th season on the circuit with victory in the giant slalom at Are in Sweden.
The 29-year-old skied her previous best - second, also in a giant slalom - at the same venue a year ago.
Rienda Contreras, second after the first leg, won in a combined time over two legs of two minutes 4.68 seconds.
Austria's Nicole Hosp could not hang on to her first-leg lead and was more than half a second down in second position.
Local favourite and world giant slalom champion Anja Paerson was third in 2:05.57.
Finland's Tanja Poutiainen, who lost the World Cup overall lead to Janica Kostelic after the super-G on Saturday, fell during the first run.
