Christoph Gruber won the men's World Cup super-G in Garmisch to complete an Austrian clean sweep in Germany.
Gruber sealed the victory with a time of one minute, 18.18 seconds to defeat Switzerland's Didier Defago by just 0.01 of a second.
Canada's Francois Bourque finished third with overall World Cup leader Bode Miller in fourth.
His win follows the downhill successes of compatriot Michael Walchhofer on Friday and Saturday.
It is a sweet moment for Gruber, who failed to qualify for the super-G in the recent World Championships.
He was also overlooked for the Austrian downhill team in favour of Hermann Maier.
"Now I can draw a line under the frustration of the championships," he said.
"It's a great comeback I'm celebrating here."
