Slovenia's Tina Maze beat Anja Paerson in St Moritz to claim the second World Cup giant slalom victory of her career.
Maze overturned a first-leg deficit of 0.33 seconds to edge out Swede Paerson by 0.12secs, while Spain's Maria Jose Rienda Contreras was third.
Croatia's Janica Kostelic was lying third after the first leg but crashed towards the end of a fast second run.
Tanja Poutiainen of Finland finished fifth to go seven points behind Paerson in the overall World Cup standings.
