French amateurs seal Fastnet win
The Fastnet Race begins off the Isle of Wight and ends in Plymouth
A total of 285 boats took part in this year's race
French yacht Iromiguy and its amateur crew upstaged larger more illustrious rivals to win the Rolex Fastnet Race.

The 29-year-old production boat, which sails out of St Malo, took advantage of freshening northerly winds to complete the 608-mile race around Fastnet Rock.

Jean-Yves Chateau has owned Iromiguy for 20 years and twice been runner-up in his class in the prestigious event.

He said: "I came back this year to try and win my class, but to win the whole race is a childhood dream."
