Canoeists Andrew Daniels and Stuart Hastings also won gold in the men's K2 1000m, while Rachel Cawthorn won her third silver in the K1 1000m.
Divers Callum Johnstone and Charles Calvert won silver in the 3m synchro.
And Commonwealth pommel horse champion Louis Smith won silver in the men's all-round gymnastics competition.
Table tennis pair Paul Drinkhall and Darius Knight won silver in the men's team event.
And 16-year old Jordan Gayle grabbed silver in the 48-55kg taekwondo competition.
Also in the diving competition, Plymouth's Tonia Couch finished fourth in the girls' 10m platform and Suzanne Collins of City of Leeds was sixth.
Johnstone also finished sixth in the boys' 3m springboard while synchro partner Calvert was eighth.
The top-six finishes for Couch, Collins and Johnstone see them qualify for Sunday's knockout competition.
Saturday sees the much-anticipated first event for 12-year-old Plymouth diver Thomas Daley.
Daley, who received a special dispensation to dive against athletes three years his senior, will be taking part in the 10m platform.
In sailing, Team GB are tied with New South Wales and Western Australia on nine wins from 14 rounds behind New Zealand on 10 in the sailing.
