A hat-trick from Danny Hammond helped Chelmsford Chieftains to a 6-2 victory over Haringey Greyhounds in the English National League Cup South on Sunday.
Hammond's three goals, a brace from Darren Brown and a Jerry Pavlus strike secured the Chieftains' fourth win from six matches in the competition.
The visitor's consolations came from Stuart Appleby and Calum Mathison.
The victory was the Essex side's second over the Greyhounds in the cup this season, having won the away leg 5-0.
It was also the fourth time they have defeated higher league opposition this year.
The Chieftains return to action in Division Two South of the English National League on Sunday with a home tie with Basingstoke Buffalo.
