Blaze beat the Giants in Belfast

Coventry Blaze upset Elite League leaders Belfast Giants with a 4-1 victory at the Odyssey Arena.

Friday night's defeat was the Giants' first at home this season, although they did take the early initiative with a goal from Bobby Robins.

But two goals in each of the subsequent periods secured the win for Paul Thompson's team.

Danny Stewart and Dan Carlson netted in the second before Sylvain Deschatelets scored twice to wrap up the points.
