Coventry head coach Paul Thompson has praised Danny Stewart after he helped his side to two wins at the weekend.

Coventry followed up Saturday's 11-1 Elite League win over Edinburgh by beating Hull 7-3 in the Challenge Cup at the Skydome on Sunday.

Stewart scored twice in Scotland and bagged a hat-trick against Hull.

Thompson told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire: "Danny has had a fantastic weekend, scoring eight points and I am really happy."
