Penguins book Stanley Cup berth

The Pittsburgh Penguins roared into the Stanley Cup final with an emphatic 6-0 victory over Philadelphia on Sunday.

The Penguins, who won the NHL Eastern Conference series 4-1, will play either Detroit or Dallas in the final.

The Red Wings lead 3-2 in their Western Conference match-up after the Stars recorded a 2-1 win on Saturday.

Ryan Malone and Evgeni Malkin put the Penguins 2-0 in the first period before Marian Hossa, Malone, Jordan Staal and Pascal Dupuis completed the scoring.

Dallas and Detroit meet in game six in Dallas on Monday.
