Coventry Blaze forward Curtis Huppe has announced he is retiring from ice hockey with immediate effect.
The Canadian only joined Blaze last summer and enjoyed a highly successful season as Coventry won the Elite League and British Knockout Cup.
Huppe said: "My goal this year was to finish on a high.
"By winning two trophies with an amazing group of guys and getting to the play off finals - well it doesn't come any better than that."
The former Belfast Giants player weighed in with 37 goals and 39 assists during his spell at the Skydome.
