Edmonton silenced Carolina 4-0 on Saturday to send the Stanley Cup final to a winner-take-all seventh game.

After trailing the best-of-seven series 3-1, the Oilers have rallied to level at 3-3 and head to Monday's decider in Raleigh oozing with confidence.

Backup netminder Jussi Markkanen was the Edmonton's hero, making 12 saves for the shutout.

Fernando Pisani, Raffi Torres, Ryan Smyth and Shawn Horcoff all got on the scoresheet to seal the win.

If they win the final game on Monday, Edmonton can become the second team, and first since the Toronto Maple Leafs 64 years ago, to come back from such a deficit to lift the Cup.

After a scoreless opening period, the Oilers seized control in the second on goals from local hero Pisani, with his 13th of post-season, and Raffi Torres.

Smyth and Horcoff put the contest out of reach with third period power play tallies.
