Fiveforthree ruled out for season

Fiveforthree, the second favourite for the World Hurdle at the 2010 Cheltenham Festival, has been ruled out for the season, says trainer Willie Mullins.

The horse was a leading contender for the marathon race in March following his win at Punchestown this April.

Mullins said he worked several of his horses at his stables in County Carlow on Wednesday morning but had to admit defeat over Fiveforthree's fitness.

"Fiveforthree has not progressed as well as I would have hoped," he said.
