Rasen to host jump racing finale

The National Hunt season reaches the finishing post at Market Rasen

Market Rasen will host the final meeting of the 2007/8 National Hunt season on Saturday.

The conditional jockeys' championship could be decided at the Lincolnshire track, with current leader Brian Hughes having several rides at the meeting.

"With Sandown's card split between jumping and flat, we stage the last race of the season by 90 minutes," said managing director Pip Kirkby.

The new National Hunt season starts just a day later at Ludlow.

There are seven races on the card at Market Rasen, beginning at 1320 BST and ending at 1640 BST.
