The Five Live selection is Sovietica in the 1320 at Taunton (all times GMT).

Tuesday's meeting at Leicester has been abandoned after further rain on Sunday night left the track waterlogged.

Monday's racing takes place at Taunton, Ludlow and Wolverhampton.

Taunton's seven-race card starts at 1250 and the ground is soft with heavy places.

There was no rain during the night but 4mm fell on the track on Sunday.

Tony McCoy is the top jockey at the track and he looks to have a good chance of taking the featured race with Marcel at 1350.

Formerly a decent hurdler, Marcel is clearly not the force of old but won well enough at Plumpton before getting well beaten at Kempton.

He has just three rivals and the small field will suit him.

The best bet of the day is Sovietica in the 1320, with in-form jockey Robert Thornton taking the ride.

The mare won two national hunt flat races before making a satisfactory debut over hurdles at Exeter.

She fell next time at Wincanton but her confidence has not been dented and she should go close on a track that will suit her.

Ludlow had 3mm of rain during the night and the ground is good to soft, although there are some soft patches on the hurdles course and good places on the chase track.

Mick Fitzgerald is supposed to be retiring at the end of this season but is riding better than ever.

He has just two rides at Ludlow, where racing starts at 1300, and both are for his boss Nicky Henderson.

Trompette in the 1400 looks the most interesting, having run really well at Sandown on her seasonal debut.

The ground should not be a problem and at only five years of age she is still improving.

Wolverhampton's all-weather programme begins at 1340 and the Polytrack is riding as standard.

Trainer Jim Boyle has his all-weather team in good spirits and the Epsom trainer can have another winner with Sweet Pickle in the 1410.
