Thursday's racing bulletin
The Five Live selection is Chinalea in the 1945 at Folkestone (all times BST).

Thursday's racing comes from Haydock Park, Great Yarmouth, Chepstow, Folkestone and Brighton.

It's the first day of three days' racing at Haydock Park and the ground is good with good to firm places.

Over 90 horses compete on the seven-race programme making selecting winners difficult.

Saeed bin Suroor has not enjoyed a good season thus far but his horses have started to run well recently so it should pay to follow Gold Heritage in the 1640.

The colt only finished fourth on his debut but this easier ground and step up in distance will be much more to his liking.

Great Yarmouth race on good to firm ground although there are some good patches.

Sharaby in the 1600 has not always been the most reliable but seems to be racing with more enthusiasm recently and should go well.

Chepstow have good ground and no shortage of runners.

Love Affair in the 1620 disappointed last time out but in a weaker race should go well.

Brighton's evening meeting gets under way at 1755 and the ground is good to firm while at Folkestone the ground is also good to firm and they start at 1745.

Best bet of the day is Chinalea in the 1945 at Folkestone.

Clive Cox's colt has yet to win from seven starts but has been running really consistently and should win if producing the same level of form that saw him pipped at Goodwood last time out.
