Thursday's racing bulletin

The Five Live selection is Suchwot in the 1540 at Newton Abbot (all times BST).

Wednesday's racing action comes from Ayr, Newton Abbot, Bath and Wetherby and there is an evening meeting at Huntingdon.

There was 13mm of rain overnight at Ayr, changing the ground to soft with good-to-soft places.

Postgraduate looks interesting in the 1500 as he comes from the in-form Hughie Morrison stable.

The horse has not run for 213 days but the last time he was seen in public he was successful at Lingfield.

Champion jockey Frankie Dettori has five rides at Bath where the ground is good with good-to-soft places.

Magic Amour in the 1520 is seeking to complete a treble and looks Dettori's best ride of the day.

The national hunt meeting at Newton Abbot is where the best bet is in action.

Suchwot in the 1540 is no world beater but looks to have an outstanding chance of opening his account over hurdles.

The favourite Miss Lehman looks vulnerable and Suchwot is having his first start for champion trainer Martin Pipe. The ground is good-to-soft with soft places.

The ground at Huntingdon is good-to-firm while the meeting at Wetherby is good with good-to-firm places.
