David Wachman says 1,000 Guineas favourite Damson is firmly on course for the Newmarket Classic on 1 May.
"Everything has been grand, we have had no major dramas. Hopefully we will get her there and she will run a good race," the trainer told BBC Sport.
"I would imagine she will get the mile but there is only one way to find out.
"She needs the ground to be pretty fast, that is important to her as she would not be the same filly on a softer surface," added the Irish handler.
