Wednesday's racing bulletin
The Five Live selection is Detroit City in the 1610 at Southwell (all times GMT).

Wednesday's meetings at Folkestone and Wetherby have both been abandoned because of bad weather.

Folkestone was called off because of waterlogging and snow at the track while Wetherby failed an 0930 inspection.

Snow fell at the West Yorkshire track from early morning leaving officials with no option but to abandon the meeting.

Racing should go ahead on the all-weather track at Southwell at 1410.

Although it has been snowing, staff have been working on the track since midnight.

Champion trainer Martin Pipe is in front of a Jockey Club disciplinary panel on Wednesday for not allowing his horse Tanterari into a dope testing area.

Pipe was concerned that the horse, who was a beaten favourite at Haydock last month, would pick up an infection from another horse.

If found guilty, he could face a fine of between £2,500 and £12,000.

But the news is better for champion chaser Best Mate.

Trainer Henrietta Knight says her charge is looking better than ever ahead of his bid for a fourth Cheltenham Gold Cup in a row.
