O'Neill puts end to nightmare run
Jonjo O'Neill
O'Neill was joined by McCoy early last year
Trainer Jonjo O'Neill celebrated his first winner for 73 days when Specular won at Huntingdon on Thursday.

Champion jockey Tony McCoy guided home the 9-4 shot to give O'Neill a massive boost less than three weeks before the Cheltenham Festival.

A virus hit O'Neill's yard before Christmas and it was feared he would have few runners at the Festival.

But McCoy said: "The trainer feels that they're coming right and he has been justified with the horse winning."
