Monday's racing bulletin

The Five Live tip is Tempsford in the 1640 at Hamilton. (All times BST).

It's been a dry night in Scotland and the going at Hamilton is good, although that's likely to change with heavy rain expected at the end of the day.

Sir Mark Prescott's Tempsford should appreciate the likely softer ground and is strongly fancied to land the one mile five furlong handicap at 1640.

The five-year-old was a major disappointment in last year's Cesarewitch at Newmarket, but made a winning return after a lengthy break at Carlisle last week and should be able to cope with a six-pound penalty for that success.

A dry day is expected at Bath where the going is firm, good to firm in places.

Marcus Tregoning's Jadalee looks the banker bet in the maiden stakes at 1520 and punters can play up their winnings with Luca Cumani's Zeeba in the 1550.

The going is standard on the all-weather track at Wolverhampton for an eight-race card of "banded racing".

The concept was introduced to give horses with low handicap ratings the chance to race against each other, and it often pays to follow a horse who's regained the winning thread by running in this grade.

Coronado Forest has already won two banded races at Lingfield this year and is fancied to complete the hat-trick in the 1730.

Mr Quicksand was a multiple winner on the all-weather track at Mijas in Spain and his handicap mark has tumbled since returning to the UK.

He could spring a surpise at a decent price in the 1630.
