Wednesday's racing bulletin
The Five Live selection is The Last Cast in the 1455 at Carlilse (all times GMT).

Tuesday's racing comes from Carlisle, Ludlow and Lingfield.

The ground is soft with good-to-soft places at Carlisle, where East Illsley trainer Hughie Morrison can make the long journey pay off.

Morrison runs Kings Bay in the 1420 and The Last Cast in the 1455.

The Last Cast looks the stronger of the two having finished a creditable second to Contraband at Sandown.

This stiffer track will be greatly in his favour.

Ludlow's ground is good to soft - although there are some good patches on the chase course.

Barman, formerly trained by Paul Cole, makes his hurdling debut for Charlie Mann in the 1655.

He was taken out of a race at Folkestone recently because of soft ground, but the conditions look ideal this time.

Meanwhile, it's standard ground at Lingfield where there will be tremendous media attention on jockey Jamie Spencer who last week quit as first jockey to Aidan O'Brien.

Spencer rides Jostle in the 1430 and Captain Johnno in the 1540.
