Vodafone Derby winner Motivator will be syndicated to stand at Her Majesty The Queen's Royal Stud at Sandringham when he retires at the end of the season.
Trained by Michael Bell and owned by the Royal Ascot Racing Club, the
three-year-old was a runaway winner of the blue riband having previously landed
the Dante Stakes at York.
"We are delighted this outstanding son of Montjeu will be standing at stud in
England," said the Queen's bloodstock advisor John Warren.
"Motivator will retire after running in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe and the Breeders' Cup Turf at Belmont.
"He has an excellent chance of adding to his marvellous record in both races.
"Her Majesty is thrilled to have such a special horse, who was an unbeaten
Group One-winning two-year-old, coming to Sandringham where the champions
Shirley Heights and Bustino have stood before."
Motivator has finished runner-up to Oratorio on his last two outings in the
Coral-Eclipse and Irish Champion Stakes, and is now set to head to Longchamp on 2 October.
