Jockey Rodi Greene has his last rides at Sandown before retiring because of a persistent shoulder injury and front-runner Ashley Brook offers him a great chance of bowing out with a winner.
The big betting race of the day is the Totescoop6 Handicap Hurdle, which goes off at 1525.
Top jockey Tony McCoy partners the bold Team Tassel and should have a great chance.
McCoy also has a strong chance in the first race - the Blazin' Saddles Juvenile Novices Hurdle - when he rides the interesting Nycteos, who has been in great form over in his native France.
