A strong ride from Ryan Moore helped 8-1 shot Chic power through late on to claim back-to-back victories in the totesport Celebration Mile at Goodwood.
The Sir Michael Stoute-trained filly failed to fire in her first two outings this season and again appeared to struggle turning for home on Sunday.
But Chic dug very deep on the outside and just got up on the line to win by a short head from Majors Cast.
The pair were five lengths clear of Court Masterpiece in third.
