Friday's racing bulletin
The Five Live selection is The Jobber in the 1705 at Newmarket (all times BST).

Friday's racing comes from Newmarket, Salisbury, Thirsk, Bath and Newcastle.

Stamina will be at a premium at Salisbury where the clerk of the course describes the ground as good to soft with soft places.

The class act is Zato in the 1550, who comes from the in-form Mick Channon stable.

The colt won a listed race in France last time out on soft ground, and so has everything in his favour.

Newmarket had 5.5mm of rain overnight and the ground is now good to soft with soft places.

Frankie Dettori makes his eagerly-awaited comeback and has four rides. The best of the Dettori quartet is The Jobber in the 1705.

The colt has already won two races this season and with the soft ground he enjoys he looks Friday's best bet.

The ground at Thirsk is good to firm with good places which should be ideal for All Ivory in the 1610.

The evening fixtures come from Bath - where the ground is good to firm with firm places despite 3mm of overnight rain - and Newcastle, where the ground is also good to firm with firm places.

Crocodile Bay in the 1800 has travelled a long way and should repay supporters.
