Jamie Spencer is to replace Eddie Ahern on Wokingham Stakes favourite Soldier's Tale at Royal Ascot at York.
Ahern had ridded the colt, trained by Jeremy Noseda, on two of his three starts but is unavailable on Saturday 18 June due to a four-day suspension.
Noseda told the Racing Post: "It's bad luck on Eddie and also on Shane Kelly, who has done some marvellous work on the horse at home.
"But Jamie has won on him before and we had to give him first call after that."
