Frankie Dettori has insisted that Kerrin McEvoy will prove an able deputy for him at the Royal York meeting.
Dettori misses the fixture, which has been switched from Ascot while that course is redeveloped, after landing a six-day ban for careless riding.
He said: ""It is a shame I will not be there but we have a good substitute in Kerrin. We will have about 20 runners and they will be our best horses.
"I'll be liaising with Kerrin each day. I'm sure he will do a very good job."
