Tuesday's racing bulletin
The Five Live tip is Tana River in the 1410 at Hereford (all times GMT).

Trainer Nigel Twiston-Davies has set out an ambitious plan for his star novice chaser Fundamentalist.

The horse will have two more outings both at Cheltenham before being prepared for a tilt at the Cheltenham Gold Cup.

His jockey Carl Llewellyn blamed himself for his defeat at Newbury on Saturday.

Today's racing comes from Newton Abbot, Hereford and Lingfield Park.

The ground is good with good to soft patches at Newton where the champion jockey Tony McCoy has four rides.

His best chance comes aboard the hat-trick seeking Pure Platinum in the 1520. The combination won over course and distance last time and will be favourite to repeat the dose.

Hereford's ground is slightly easier and is described as good to soft with soft patches.

Tana River in the 1410 is a very exciting prospect having won four of his six starts.

The Emma Lavelle-trained gelding has not been easy to train and returns from a 633-day absence but that should not worry his supporters as Lavelle is adept at getting horses very fit following a lay-off. He has been schooling well over steeplechase fences at home and looks the best bet of the day.

As usual it is standard ground on the polytrack at Lingfield where the man to follow is jockey Richard Quinn. The Scotsman has winning chances aboard Noora in the 1230, Kingsgate Bay in the 1400 and Sky Quest in the 1500.
