Thursday's racing bulletin

The Five Live selection is Dhaudeloup in the 1300 at Ludlow (all times GMT).

Racing today takes place at Ludlow, Lingfield Park,Taunton and Wolverhampton.

Mick Fitzgerald is riding superbly at present and Nicky Henderson's stable jockey can continue that good run of form aboard Out of the Black in Ludlow's 1330.

The horse was outclassed at Cheltenham last time out but should be too good for today's opposition.

Best bet of the day is Dhaudeloup in the 1300. Formerly a decent horse with trainer Richard Fahy, the horse is now trained by Alan Juckes.

Good ground at Ludlow is in his favour and the fact that he has not run for two months is also beneficial as he runs well when fresh.

The gelding can be quirky but should prove too classy for this moderate bunch.

Champion jockey Tony McCoy is in action at Lingfield where the ground is soft with heavy patches.

His best chance of success is Catchthebug in the 1350.

Good ground at Taunton has attracted competitive fields, with Grande Creole in the 1610 looking like an eye-catching contender.

The all-weather track at Wolverhampton is riding standard and the horse of interest is Zarabad in the 1615.

The horse is making his racecourse debut but comes from the Newmarket yard of Sir Michael Stoute who rarely has runners on this track.
