Today's Five Live selection is Made In France in the 1530 at Ludlow (all times BST).

Brighton passed a 0730 inspection so there will be three race meetings on Wednesday with Haydock Park and Ludlow making up the trio.

Brighton had 5mm of rain until midnight but a drying wind means conditions are raceable with the ground is currently soft, heavy in places.

The ground at Ludlow is much faster being mainly good with good to soft patches.

Jockey Timmy Murphy is riding brilliantly at the moment and should be in the winner's enclosure aboard Made in France in the 1540.

The horse can be excused for his latest defeat because the trip was too far but back over the minimum distance he will be a force to reckoned with.

Since his latest victory, the gelding has risen in the weights but with Murphy riding so well and Martin Pipe's horse in such good form, he looks the best bet of the day.

Amberleigh returns to track

Grand National winner Amberleigh House is the star attraction at Haydock Park.

Ginger McCain's horse is running over hurdles in the 1630 and should acquit himself adequately according to the trainer.

The best bet at Haydock is La Dolfina in the 1530 who was unluckily brought down on the bend on her hurdling debut.

The last four consecutive Five Live selections have all won so the pressure is on Made in France at Ludlow to make it a five-timer.
